🌿 Africa Climate Summit 2 (ACS2) Engagement
Green Health Africa is coordinating youth-led engagement for ACS2 through active participation in both the health and youth clusters. we are contributing strategic inputs, co-developing session content and supporting the organization of side events. Our goal is to ensure that climate, health and finance discussions are inclusive of African youth perspectives, grounded in lived experience and aligned with evidence-based priorities for a healthier, climate resilient future.
📚 CPD Courses on Climate & Health
We offer free accredited online courses hosted on the Blue Health Ethiopia CPD platform. Each course offers 1.5 CEU points, builds capacity in climate-health action, and is complemented by our live webinar series that connects learners with experts for Q and A sessions.
🌍 Plastic & Health Campaigns
Our awareness campaigns tackle the link between microplastics and health through plogging events, educational videos, and school outreach. These activities not only raise awareness but also inspire individual action toward plastic reduction and safe waste management.
🌱 Tree Planting for Health
In support of Ethiopia’s Green Legacy and global reforestation efforts, we partner with local institutions for tree planting events tied to air quality improvement and public health education. These actions reflect our vision of a climate-resilient, healthier Africa.
🏥 Hospital Waste & Health Campaign (Coming Soon)
We are launching a targeted campaign to assess and address medical waste mismanagement in healthcare settings. This project will combine community mobilization, health worker training, and advocacy to shift hospital waste practices toward safer, more climate-friendly models.
🌍 Regional Expansion (Coming Soon)
With growing demand and momentum, Green Health Africa is planning to expand operations into more regions across Ethiopia and East Africa. We aim to scale youth-led climate-health action by building local chapters and piloting community-based solutions.
